About the trainer

I’ve spent more than 15 years in tech, growing from a software engineer into engineering leadership and eventually Director of Engineering roles.

Throughout my career, I’ve built and led engineering teams, worked with managers and technical leaders, hired and developed people, navigated organizational change, and dealt with many of the challenges that come with growing teams and businesses.

Over time, I realized that the most interesting problems are rarely purely technical. They are usually about people: motivation, communication, leadership, trust, expectations, burnout, unclear roles, difficult decisions, or simply feeling stuck.

Today, I bring that experience into coaching.

I particularly enjoy working with:

- Engineers and tech professionals thinking about their next career step
- New and experienced leads who want to become stronger, more confident managers
- Leaders dealing with difficult team dynamics, burnout or performance challenges
- People who feel stuck in their career and want to understand what they actually want next
- Companies and engineering leaders trying to understand why a team or organization isn’t working as effectively as it could

My approach is practical and curious. I don’t believe there is one management framework, career path or leadership style that works for everyone. I prefer to understand what is really happening first and then help you see the situation from different angles, challenge assumptions and find an approach that works for you.

My background allows me to understand the realities of the tech industry from the inside: the pressure to deliver, difficult stakeholders, growing responsibilities, organizational politics, hiring, reorganizations and the transition from being a strong individual contributor to becoming responsible for other people.

For me, coaching is not about telling someone how they should live or work. It is about creating enough clarity to make better decisions, notice patterns that may be holding you back, and move forward intentionally.
